DEAR JOANNA-

I have arrived in the "promise land."  While it is warm here outside, there is this thing called "air conditioning" and it is cold.  I don't think I like it.

Also the water here comes straight out of this thing called a "faucet." Talk about revolutionary! So far, I have also showered everyday, but given that I have only been in america for one day, I guess that isn't so impressive...
